About
The club supports youth in our community and carries out a number of community activities. Through our volunteer work, we:
- seek to develop optimism as a philosophy of life
- promote an active interest in community activities
- encourage the participation of youth in community events
- support services in our community which aid youth
- organize and present events for the enjoyment of youth and their families
We are very proud of our record of service in the community. Over the years, we have:
- purchased the information sign in front of Conestogo Public School
- provided financial support for the building of the Woolwich Memorial Centre and RIM Park
- helped build and maintain a number of trails in Woolwich Township, including the Health Valley Trail
- provided financial support for a variety of agencies such as KidsAbility
- supported the Winterbourne playground project
- built and maintained outdoor ice rinks in Conestogo and Winterbourne
- presented an annual Fireworks Night, and related activities, for over 30 years
